Compressors
Features:
-
All compressors are remanufactured to meet or exceed OEM
specifications.
-
All units are assembled with new OEM approved seals, o-rings,
gaskets, and piston rings when applicable.
-
Every clutch bearing is replaced with new NSK or Nachi bearings
when necessary.
-
New yokes and pistons are installed where applicable.
-
All compressors are tested with up to 250 lbs. of dry
nitrogen (NOT SHOP AIR) then submerged in a solvent to detect external
leaks.
-
All compressors are hydraulic tested with double end capped
PAG Oil at 1500 RPM and 800 RPM.
-
All compressors must pass a 32 in./lb. vacuum test.
-
All reed valves are inspected and replaced with new as needed.
-
All clutch hubs are machined faced to OEM standards.
-
All pulleys are machined faced to OEM standards.
-
All Clutch air gaps are set and measured to industry standards
(0.20 or 0.50).
-
All casing bolts are torque to OEM specifications.
-
New o-rings or gaskets are provided for ALL compressor manifolds.
-
New electrical connectors are provided on units as required.
-
New wire loom is installed on ALL units.
-
All coils are checked at 12 volts for conductivity.
-
All coils are verified up to a 3 amp. draw.
-
All compressors are packed in a heat shrink wrap, with a
full charge of double end capped Pag Oil bottled separately.
-
All GM and Ford Compressors are provided with an orifice
tube.
-
Appropriate sealing washers are provided on certain GM units.
